Description
This type of unit has been designed for any app_ioa~ n that requires drilling, boring and facing operations. The power is trasmitted from the motor to the spindie by two pulleys with taperlock bushings. The units are available in quill version and in slide version (with slideways made from cast iron, induction-hardened and ground). For hydraulic slide units, we can supply a rapid-advance-fine-feed valve on request.
type UFI HYDRAULIC UNITS.
A hydraulic cylinder, mounted inside the unit, controls the tool advancement.
type UFIP PNEUMATIC UNITS.
The tool advancement is caused by a pneumatic cylinder with a hydraulic brake.
type USI HYDRAULIC FACING UNITS.
A hydraulic cylinder, mounted inside the slide, controls the tool advancement. The radiai movement is done hydraulically by a rear mounted cylinder via a reaction bar. Unit housing and facing slide are made of heat treated and ground steel.
type MF-TS
Spindles only, complete with motor.
Units type UFI - UFIP - MF can be supplied with different types of bearings for spindle.
Units type USI and UFI (with sfide), can be supplied on request:
with rolled or ground ballscrew
with bracket + joint to attach a DC motor
with slide surfaces covered by antifriction material
with telescopic way covers.
WORKING POSITIONS
All slide units can work both in horizontal and in vertical position, but this has to be specified with the order. For orders without this specification, the units will be supplied having the features for horizontal operation.
